Capitol Shakespeare is a completely non-profit organization and doesn't charge for its annual summer productions of a Shakespeare play. We want to keep it that way!

Producing a community play does cost money and takes much time and effort, including building an outdoor stage, procuring costumes, printing costs, postage costs, venue costs, insurance and salaries for the small production team.
