Come early each day to get a good spot and enjoy other midieval entertainment. Food vendors include ice cream and turkey legs, as well as Coke products. All shows are free; suggested at-will donations are $3 a person. 

Whether you're an avid Shakespeare fan or just looking for a fun, family time, Capitol Shakespeare is for everyone.  

In collaboration with Bismarck State College, the board members of Capitol Shakespeare are dedicated to producing a free outdoor play by William Shakespeare, set on the beautiful grounds of the North Dakota state capitol. Bring a blanket, plan a picnic and enjoy the sights and sounds of Shakespeare's works embodied by local and regional players!
